The Southwell Cricket Club 1st XI will be playing in the South Notts Cricket League Division D in the 2024 season. Through a competitive 2023, we narrowly missed out on promotion back up to Division C.

We managed to maintain a brilliant spirit and atmosphere throughout the season, something that optimizes our club. Under the new leadership of captain Jonny Butler and vice-captain Will Ashworth, we aim to have a successful season, encouraging and bringing through a nucleus of young players who have progressed through our successful youth development programme and pushing our way back up that table.

So, if you would like to pick up a bat again, have recently moved into the area or are looking for a new club to challenge you, get in touch! There is no better place in the county than the picturesque Top Ground to compete for places and play cricket with such a welcoming and friendly bunch of cricketers.
